Jennifer Lopez recently expressed her dismay about Ben Affleck's closeness with David and Victoria Beckham.
A source told In Touch Weekly, "JLo has always liked and admired Victoria; they were very close when she was married to Marc Anthony."
The insider said, "They used to hang around a lot. She and Victoria grew apart after her divorce from Marc, but she still considers her a friend."
At the moment, the Beckhams appear to be focusing their attention on new pal Ben, which is why the insider said that JLo feels resentful.
According to the insider, Jennifer "isn't letting go of the idea that her ex-husband is still trying to mess with her head".
"She's convinced he's only doing it to spite her, because back when they were together, he never showed any interest in hanging out with them even though JLo swears she suggested it multiple times," a source told me.
The insider revealed, "Now all of a sudden, Ben is throwing himself around a lot of JLo's old friends and basically scavenging." She flatly accused Ben of attempting to kidnap her friends to get a rise out of her."
Another insider informed the magazine that even though Jennifer "claims to be moving on from Ben, the truth is quite the opposite".
"As much as she talks a good game about moving forward, the truth is she's still just as obsessed as ever," a source told me.
The informant concluded: "The way Ben tells it, all he wants to do is put JLo in his rearview and isn't thinking of her at all."
