Meghan Markle may be embarrassed by some of the information that will be aired in a future documentary, according to the filmmaker.
Meghan and Harry left their duties as senior working royals five years ago and relocated to the United States with their two children, Lilibet and Archie.
For those who are unaware, Prince Harry's The Lost Prince will be released on December 3, offering details on their personal life in Montecito.
Ulrike Grunewald, the project's director, traveled to California with a team to gather insights from the community where Harry and Meghan reside with their children.
Ulrike stated in an interview with the Express that the pair may find it unpleasant to watch. She also told the outlet that working on the documentary helped her appreciate why the royals were anxious when Meghan and Harry quit their royal positions.
"Harry - The Lost Prince will look into one of the most heartbreaking periods of the Royal Family since the abdication of Edward VIII in 1936," Ulrike said. "The most damaging claims can only originate from inside. The Royal Family only hears shocking revelations from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. I begin to comprehend the late Queen's opinion that you cannot be 'half in and half out.'"
She also stated that the documentary will look into Meghan's developing reputation, which may not sit well with the Duchess.
"She [Meghan] might be embarrassed about the amount of criticism she now gets even in communities that used to back her after the decision to leave the Royal Family as a working member."
Grunewald stated that, while many people connected with Prince Harry's Invictus Games have questioned Meghan's position and attitude, others are optimistic about the couple's future.
"At the moment, it is difficult to detect any significant achievements from their Archewell Foundation, which professes to strive for community progress. But there are still others who believe the marriage has great promise not only for the British monarchy but also for a liberal society.
