Despite a long-standing relationship between Prince William and Marcus Rashford, a source told GB News that the prince had no influence in the forward's recent move to Aston Villa.
The Prince of Wales is well-known for his undying support for the Birmingham-based team and has frequently been seen at Villa Park matches.
While he and Rashford were previously acquainted, having met at the 2021 MBE ceremony at Windsor Castle, when William acknowledged Rashford for his work on child food poverty, the Prince had no involvement in the transfer negotiations.

Though a source told the Mail that William was unlikely to turn down the opportunity to influence such a high-profile deal for his squad, sources say the prince kept completely out of the transfer discussions.
