Adele revealed her father once threw a garbage bag over her head while singing on stage at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.
However, the Easy On Me hitmaker was quick to reveal that her father Mark Evans, with whom she had a rocky relationship, did so to surprise her.
"One of my favourite childhood memories is when my dad picked me up from my mother's house, which was unusual, and presented me to my grandparents with a garbage bag over my head," the singer remembered.
"It was done with the best of intentions. "Bless his soul, I adore him," she said of her late father, who moved out when Adele was three years old.
"He literally dropped me on the threshold of their house as a surprise and put a garbage bag over my head, as if I was delivered," the Grammy winner continued.
"My granny was startled and delighted to see me. It was simply incredible. "Sometimes, as an adult, I'm not sure if what I'm saying about him is humorous or not," she continued.
