India won the Women's Under-19 World Cup by defeating England. India defeated England by seven wickets to win their first Women's Under-19 World Cup at the Senwes Cricket Stadium in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
Choosing to bowl first, India dismissed England for 68 runs before chasing down the mark in 14 overs.
India's Soumya Tiwari and Gongadi Trisha both scored 24 runs in response to the meagre goal.
England sent back skipper Shafali Verma (15) and Shweta Sehrawat, but Soumya and Trisha teamed together to chase down the mark.

Hannah Baker, Grace Scrivens, and Alexa Stonehouse each got a wicket for England.
Previously, England struggled on the big stage, being bowled out for 68 as a consequence of great bowling and fielding.
Ryana MacDonald-Gay scored 19 runs off 24 balls to lead the English side. Meanwhile, Alexa Stonehouse and Sophia Smale each have the potential for 11 runs.
Titas Sadhu, Archana Devi, and Parvashi Chopra each took two wickets for India, while Mannat Kashyap, Shafali Verma, and Sonam Mukesh Yadav each took one.
Scrivens was named tournament player of the year.

The BCCI announced a monetary incentive of more than $600,000 and invited the squad to attend India's third and final T20 men's encounter against New Zealand on Wednesday in Ahmedabad.
The triumph comes ahead of the first Women's Indian Premier League, which is set to take place in March.
BCCI received $572.5 million recently when it declared the winners of bids to purchase five WIPL clubs.
Viacom18 purchased the league's media rights for the next five seasons for $116.7 million.
