Ryan Reynolds shared a father-daughter bonding moment with his and Blake Lively's 8-year-old daughter, James, at a soccer game on Sunday, January 28, 2023, according to Us Weekly.
The Deadpool actor, 46, travelled to Wales with his eldest kid and The Adam Project director Shawn Levy to witness Wrexham Football Club, which he co-owns, face Sheffield United in the historic FA Cup.
During the thrilling match, which concluded in a 3-3 tie, the adoring father was seen hugging and carrying his daughter into the air.
Meanwhile, while watching the game at home, Lively made fun of her husband.
"I purchased ESPN+ today only to witness my husband's acute anxiety in real time. "Worth it," the Gossip Girl star posted her Instagram Story on Sunday, alongside an image of Reynolds looking concerned in the stands. "You're losing out on these vibes if you're not watching this incredible game right now."
Reynolds and Lively have two kids, Inez, six, and Betty, three, in addition to James, who was born in 2014. Lively is now expecting her fourth kid.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2022 that Lively and Reynolds are "actually more bonded and supportive of each other than ever." According to the source, the Green Lantern actor "has gotten better than ever at controlling his time and schedule."
