WATCH OUT: This automobile has the ability to change colour. LAS VEGAS – BMW revealed a prototype of a car that can change colour and incorporates digital capabilities such as displaying driving data over the inside of the windscreen on Wednesday.
The I Vision Dee was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where "Terminator" actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in attendance.

Last year at this same exhibition, BMW presented an automobile that could change colour, but just from white to black and grey in between.
However, the new car's body might be a rainbow of colours, one solid colour, or stripes or checks.

BMW I Vision Dee is now just a notion, but it is expected to influence the design of future vehicles from the premium company.
For example, having driving data such as speed or direction flash on the windscreen is set to become an option in 2025.
BMW has also raised the potential of displaying augmented reality graphics on the windscreen and transform it into a full-fledged screen with technology that merges "actual and virtual worlds.
According to BMW CEO Oliver Zipse, the goal is to leverage software to create "the ultimate companion" that provides a tailored driving experience. Dee is an abbreviation for digital emotional experience.
Schwarzenegger talked about a prototype that was jam-packed with all of this new technology.
"I was concerned since, in most of my films, the machine was the antagonist. They are now allies "He stated.
