Amy Robach's former family is staying away from the host's controversy drama on ABC.
According to Page Six, Andrew Shue, ex-husband of former GMA3 presenter, "does not want to be a part of this. Nobody wants to be a part of this catastrophe "Page Six was informed by an insider close to the couple.
"He's really classy," stated the person.
An insider close to the celebrity previously stated, "[Andrew and his family] are distancing themselves from the issue [with Amy and T.J.]," adding that it would be "extremely unexpected" if Shue ever made a public remark addressing his estranged wife's romance with Holmes.
Meanwhile, one of the ex-acquaintances couple's claimed that the most difficult element of the romance controversy was that "everyone liked Andrew."
"There is no one who does not like Andrew. He's a genuinely great man and a terrific guy – so pleasant, courteous, and generous."
According to the insider, "friends aren't on board with T.J. and Amy," but Robach hasn't heeded the criticism.
Former GMA3 anchor friends said she had excellent intentions, but "she follows her feelings and gets what she wants."
"One of her shortcomings is that she falls in love with people — both friends and guys — and she may think too much on instinct. She's a little rash "the insider explained.
Another source described Amy as a "survivor" who "feels it's her right to be happy," despite the fact that "Amy [supposedly] broke up a marriage and was friends with his wife."
Meanwhile, Nate, the former soccer player's 26-year-old son, reportedly uploaded a GIF of Jimmy Fallon stating, "Let's just go on," following his stepmom's dismissal from ABC.
