Royal specialists have expressed concerns over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's brand's core strength.
Marlene Koenig, a royal historian, made this revelation.
She spoke at length about it all in her most recent interview with Express UK.
There, she attacked the blue-blooded Duke of Sussex for becoming the "butt of every joke" in the United States since the publication of his memoir.
She feels Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent decisions may have "harmed" the core of their brand beyond repair.
"Their branding may be harmed because the focus has been more on attacking his family and less on accomplishing business," she was cited as saying by the source.
"I hate to say it, but they're hardly A-listers," Ms Koenig remarked at the conclusion of the day.
She also talked about how "Harry was the butt of countless jokes on late-night TV" immediately afterwards.
"A lot of people on TV and in print have stated that exposing dirty linen is not a good thing."
"There will be a percentage of Americans who take their side and perceive Harry and Meghan as victims," she admits. When William and Catherine visited Boston in December, they received a warm welcome. "There are a lot of people."
