King Charles and Queen Camilla delivered the "sad" news on the royal family's official social media pages with a heartfelt message.

In the film, released hours after Prince Harry arrived in Canada amid rumors about his future in the United States, Queen Camilla is seen conducting her duties with the assistance of her pet dog.

The Palace sent the following message with the video: "The Queen's much-loved companion from @Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire."
