Conan O'Brien has confessed his biggest regret while hosting Saturday Night Live.
The prominent TV personality, who has been a member of SNL, wishes he had had more fun on the job.
Conan worked on the popular comedy series' scripts from 1988 until 1991.
While speaking exclusively on his Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend podcast, the 61-year-old comedian stated, "People constantly say no regrets. "I regret being so focused on that job."
"Yeah. I was far too intense, and I believe I deprived myself of some enjoyment that I could have had.
He went on to say, "I had a lot of fun, but I believe I could have had more. And I suppose I could have written for a bit longer if I hadn't made it so difficult for myself."
Brien, 66, also credited Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday Night Live, with changing the path of his career.
Conan Christopher O'Brien is best known for presenting late-night shows on the NBC television network.
