Travis Kelce's father, Ed Kelce, is planning to gift Taylor Swift something special for her birthday.
Ed described his process to picking a meaningful present for Swift on her birthday, December 13.
On the December 12 edition of the Baskin and Phelps podcast, Ed addressed why choosing the ideal gift for Swift is difficult.
"Buying Taylor a present is like trying to buy Jason or Travis a present," Ed added, alluding to his sons, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and retired Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce. "There's nothing they want that they don't already have."
Ed highlighted that a high-priced present is not the solution, saying, "The amount of money is meaningless." You're not going to crush Taylor Swift with a present worth $100,000."
Instead, he says the trick is to emphasize the emotional significance of the present.
"You need to see beyond that. "You have to dig deep and come up with something special," he added.
"You spend $10 on something that tugs at her heartstrings. Then she'll be all mushy. You have to discover something that elicits the emotion."
Swift's 34th year has been historic, highlighted by the triumph of her career-spanning Eras Tour.
The New York Times claimed that the 152-show globe tour generated more than $2 billion in ticket sales.
The record-breaking tour ended on December 8 with a farewell event at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, where fans sung "Happy Birthday" in honor of the star's big day.
