Despite the numerous rumors surrounding Meghan Markle, she is clear about how she wants the Netflix program to represent her.
The former Suits actress is preparing for two major launches: her cookery program, With Love, Meghan, on the streaming giant, and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which is linked to the eight-part series.
The Duchess of Sussex engaged in a lengthy back-and-forth over the name of her company as trademark concerns arose over the course of two years.
The Duchess' company had to alter its name when her trademark registration for American Riviera Orchard was denied. There is now anxiety surrounding the new name because it turns out that other brands with the same name already exist.
Despite the problems, Meghan wants to establish that the program is legitimate, according to industry sources.
Prince Harry's wife appears to be "going back to her roots" with her new program.
"Nobody knows who she really is," a TV insider who has seen the episode told Page Six. "[The world] created this image of who they think she is."
They proceeded, "She doesn't claim to be perfect," the TV source explained. "That's what the gist of the show is — she's just having fun."
Meghan has been tagged with several titles as a result of the issues that have surrounded her since she began dating her now-husband Prince Harry.
Despite all that has happened in the past, she remains focused on her career. According to sources, the As Ever lifestyle goods will not be available for purchase until many months after the program premieres.
In the meanwhile, Meghan will focus on the success of her program ahead to its premiere.
