Despite circulating rumors, major entertainment agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) has reaffirmed its continued association with Meghan Markle, refuting suspicions that it had broken ties with the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan, 43, joined with the prominent agency in 2023, joining a roster that includes Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and tennis icon Serena Williams.
However, new rumors indicate that WME has distanced itself from Meghan owing to purported problems in dealing with her.
According to PageSix, Meghan was "let go" as a result of her excessive expectations and an outburst during a meeting with WME CEO Ari Emanuel in January of last year.
Despite this, the agency acknowledged that it continues to represent both Meghan and her organization, Archewell.
Speculation grew in September when WME sponsored an exclusive post-Emmys luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria attended by A-list celebs like Kevin Costner, Brie Larson, and Javier Bardem.
Meghan and Prince Harry were noticeably missing, sparking suspicions about their status in Hollywood.
Furthermore, The Hollywood Reporter released a story headlined Why Hollywood Keeps Quitting on Harry and Meghan, citing high-profile staff departures, including their chief of staff Josh Kettler, who departed after only three months.
Despite the continued rumors, WME's confirmation indicates Meghan is still on the agency's client list, albeit the nature of their relationship is unclear.
