Graham Norton, a television personality, is expected to make a cameo in the forthcoming season of Doctor Who.
Season two of the famous TV series, backed by BBC One, will include Norton in an episode titled The Interstellar Song Contest, which will debut on May 17.
The BBC previewed his presence with a message titled 'calling all Eurovision enthusiasts!'.
They said: "Graham Norton joins the ensemble cast for the episode, which includes guest appearances from stars of stage and screen Freddie Fox, Rylan, Kadiff Kirwan, Charlie Condou, and Miriam-Teak Lee."
The filmmakers are honored to have the 62-year-old join the cast. They also indicated that Graham's role will be more than simply a cameo, with a whole storyline twist.
Russell T Davies, the showrunner, adding, "There's no song contest without the great man himself, and it was an honour to welcome Graham Norton to our Cardiff studios."
"And it's not just a cameo, he has a whole plot twist all to himself!"
He kept going: "This is the wildest episode of all, and we're lucky to have Graham adding to the mayhem."
