Jenna Ortega has just stated that she secretly wants to release music!
Though the Wednesday star does not feel she has the "strength" to become a musician, in order to satisfy her musical impulses, the actress may just record albums under an identity and never "acknowledge" that they are her songs.
"I used to believe that I had thick skin, but the reason I do what I do is because I am sensitive. "I don't think I have the strength to participate in the music industry," she said The Weeknd during an interview with V magazine.
Jenna went on to say, "I believe that if I ever made music, I would do so behind a pseudonym and not talk about it. I would not acknowledge it, and it would just be for me.
"I'd love to compose. I need to learn to play the piano. It kills me that I don't already, but it's such a vital aspect of a picture that can make or break an idea and a tale," the Scream actress admitted.
"I'm not sure if it's because I grew up in a busy house, my head feels cluttered, or what, but I just enjoy sound. I'm not a huge admirer of silence," she continued, adding, "so I'd want to explore into that domain. Even if I didn't release anything or score a picture that I directed.
"With musicians, it's supposed to be more of a depiction of themselves and who they are, and you guys draw inspiration from your personal life. So are actors, but we hide behind these personalities," the 22-year-old explained, drawing a parallel between musicians and actors.
"I think with the idea of celebrity, too, we put people on such a pedestal that I think the general public groups them in as this superior bunch, like everyone is supposed to have these superpowers or something, and it's so uncalled for and makes no sense at all," she said.
