Meghan Markle suffered a big setback when a well-known Hollywood actress declined her appeal for Kate Middleton's support.
According to Kinsey Schofield, a prominent royal analyst, the Duchess of Sussex indicated a wish to invite Reese Witherspoon on her podcast, Archetypes, before her Spotify arrangement fell through.
On the Andrew Gold & Kinsey Schofield YouTube channel, she stated, "I heard rumours that Meghan was trying to get Reese Witherspoon on Archetypes, Reese Witherspoon politely declined."
The royal observer wrote: "I heard it through the grapevine that it's because Reese Witherspoon loves the Princess of Wales, loves Catherine and didn't want to do anything to jeopardise any sort of social clout she has with Catherine, the future Queen."
It is worth noting that the former Suits star is also attempting to engage Reese's close friend Jennifer Aniston via her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
According to US Express, an informant stated that "Meghan is hoping Jen will be there for her as soon as possible as a guest." Meghan understands that she needs a strong A-list name to quickly recover from such a rocky start."
However, neither Sussex nor Aniston have verified the information.
