Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been chastised for allegedly making reckless decisions in search of financial gain.
A friend of Princess Diana, who is also a published author, chastised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their claimed errors.
In a new interview with The Daily Telegraph, Tina Brown criticized the former Suits star for her TV show With Love, Meghan, stating she "looks ridiculous."
In her harsh evaluation, the royal expert argued that the irony is that Harry "really misses being a prince" but now appears like a "disaster tourist" when he arrives at the site of events.
Brown went on to express her opinions on the Duke's future with the royal family, stating that he will never return.
When asked about the royals, Brown, whose best-selling royal novels include The Palace Papers and The Diana Chronicles, replied: "There is still a Harry-shaped hole in the royal family, but I don't think that hole will fill. It's a shame, since that's all they're missing: some sparkle.
She went further: "What's unfortunate is that Harry is the most talented in the family at human relations, like his mother."
She went on to say, "He definitely understands how to play the character of Prince. I believe he truly enjoys it. That's what makes it so ironic. For a while, he believed he didn't because the palace was uninteresting and oppressive.
According to her: "Now he's had a few years doing it without them, I think he really misses being a prince because he was good at it."
Brown mirrored actress Justine Bateman's sentiments on Harry and Meghan's efforts to raise humanitarian relief in the aftermath of the wildfires that destroyed Los Angeles in January, stating, "You become a disaster tourist."
"Unfortunately, his—their—appetite for money drove him to make bad judgments. The book's poor judgment proved difficult to reverse. I believe the Oprah [Winfrey] interview was the most gratuitously foolish decision. There was no money in it. The brothers' connection appears to be extremely difficult to mend. I believe Harry could make it up, but I doubt William could.
