The Duchess of Sussex attempted to ease family tensions by sending gifts to the Royals from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
According to a source, Meghan and Harry discussed the plan ahead of time, and the Duke supported it as a means to help heal frayed ties.
The insider told Heat Magazine that Meghan and Harry "had a talk before she sent off the packages, and he thought it was a lovely gesture."
"They're both hoping that it would help to heal their strained relationship with the King, and he did have someone in his office write back to thank them, which Meghan found encouraging.
She is extremely proud of her products and is confident that everyone who tries them will agree that she is making magic.
