The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been making the rounds of the gossip mill for the past few weeks. The smartphone is supposed to be a cheaper version of the rumored Galaxy Z Flip 7. Previous leaks have hinted at the expected primary features and pricing of the clamshell foldable. It has also surfaced on various certification websites. According to recent speculations, the foldable handset may be named something other than what was predicted.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE May Launch With Different Name
Sammy Fans have discovered an eSIM compatibility site featuring a Samsung handset with the model number SM-F761. The phone is called the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Xe. The model number was formerly related with the speculated Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE clamshell foldable.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Xe moniker apparently emerged in the GSMA IMEI database in December 2024 as well. However, how a phone appears on a certification website does not ensure its marketing name. Readers should treat any information about the rumored handset's name with caution until we hear something official from Samsung.
Previous sources said that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be powered by an Exynos 2400e SoC with 8GB RAM. It may contain two 12-megapixel rear cameras, one of which is an ultra-wide shooter, as well as a 10-megapixel front camera. The phone may include a 3.4-inch cover screen, similar to the present Galaxy Z Flip 6, as well as a 6.7-inch main display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may include a 3,700mAh battery with 25W wired charging capabilities. It is projected to be priced below EUR 1,000 (about Rs. 92,000) and released with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 smartphones. The cheaper clamshell foldable is estimated to be 71.9x165.2x6.9mm when unfurled and 71.9x84.9x15.9/17.1mm when folded.
