Norway's royal family is still dealing with a health crisis, with Queen Sonja sent to the hospital months after King Herald underwent a pacemaker.
Queen Sonja, 87, was sent to the National Hospital on Monday evening for tests after experiencing shortness of breath, according to a statement from the Norwegian royal court.
Norway's head of state, King Harald, and his wife were flown from the royal cabin in Sikkilsdalen, central Norway, where they had spent the Easter break.
With an age of 87, King Harald is Europe's oldest reigning king. He also had a pacemaker implanted earlier this year after developing an illness on a private trip in Malaysia.
Since 1924, the Norwegian royal family has spent the majority of their Easter holidays at the chalet.
