The royal family surprised fans by gathering for a magnificent ceremony to honor their beloved princess on her special day.
On Tuesday, Queen Mary of Denmark stole the show with a dazzling presentation during a lavish performance marking her daughter Princess Isabella's 18th birthday at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen.
The Danish royal family's celebration was the second of two big public ceremonies commemorating the princess's coming of age, and over 1,000 young people from across Denmark were invited to attend.
The King and Queen were upbeat as they watched the special performance ahead of Isabella's real birthday on April 21.
On the other side, birthday girl Isabella was overjoyed since she looked lovely in a sparkling navy tulle gown with silver embroidery on the back. She teamed it with a similar handbag.
To accentuate her appearance, she arranged her hair in an attractive updo. The monarch finished off her appearance with glittering diamond earrings stolen from her mother, Queen Mary.
King Frederik, 56, and Queen Mary, 53, also relished the occasion, posing for photos on the red carpet with their four children.
Crown Prince Christian, 19, and Prince Vincent, 14, matched the King in formal tuxedos. Princess Josephine, 14, complimented her sister with a blue jumpsuit with caped sequin sleeves.
The royal family also released a photo of Queen Margrethe walking forward on Fredensborg Castle's main staircase, accompanied by the royal couple, grandkids, and two sisters.
