Marvel's Thunderbolts* film has recently gotten its first round of reviews.
The superhero picture, directed by Jake Schreier and starring Florence Pugh, Lewis Pullman, and Sebastian Stan, is scheduled to be released on May 2.
On April 22, an early showing of the Marvel Cinematic Universe film was held in London's Leicester Square, where critics shared their comments and reviews.
The action adventure impressed critics, who called it the 'greatest MCU picture in a long time.'
According to Total Film critic Emily Murray, the film "has so much spark, charisma, and tells a genuinely emotional story that you connect with." One tear was shed. Florence Pugh, in particular, is outstanding; she simply walks away with it."
Amon Warmann, an editor and journalist for Empire magazine, thought Thunderbolts* was a terrific picture with a visually innovative style.
He wrote, "That was very wonderful! A visually adventurous, emotionally powerful superhero picture that puts mental health on the map."
Amon said, "Florence Pugh adds the heart, David Harbour is constantly amusing, and Lewis Pullman might be the sneaky MVP. "Best MCU film in a long time!"
The action film, backed by Walt Disney, gathers together an unorthodox squad of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Ghost, Taskmaster, Red Guardian, and John Walker, to go on a perilous mission.
