Kate Middleton traveled to Scotland on Tuesday with her husband, Prince William, to mark their 14th wedding anniversary.

The trip marks the couple's first combined public appearance after Kate received prophylactic treatment for cancer, which she is now in remission from.

Rather than celebrating at home, the Prince and Princess of Wales, one of the world's most attractive couples with Hollywood star appeal, headed to Scotland for a two-day trip to the Isles of Mull and Iona, which are part of the Hebrides archipelago off the west coast.

According to British media, after their official obligations, they planned to spend their anniversary at a small, remote self-catering house on Mull, which is known for its spectacular landscape.

Upon their arrival, the pair posted many photos on their Instagram account.

It was the couple's first appearance together after returning from their Easter vacation.

During their holiday, the Prince and Princess of Wales went skiing in France, and William was subsequently seen in Paris with his son, watching a football match.

A French magazine included images of Kate and William together in its story on their skiing trip.

During their trip to France, topless images of Kate Middleton were shot and later published in a local magazine.

Closer magazine in France published photos of the Princess of Wales, while the regional daily La Provence featured bikini photos in 2012.

William stated that the release of topless photos of his wife in a French magazine was "all the more painful" considering his mother's history with the paparazzi.

A declaration from the then-Duke of Cambridge was read during the French trial of six persons convicted of breach of privacy and collaboration.
