Prince Harry got harsh criticism for reigniting a quarrel with royals while claiming strong wish to make peace.
For those unfamiliar, the Duke of Sussex made an unexpected appearance in Shanghai for a conference promoting sustainable tourism.
His visit occurred at the same time as his father, King Charles, was completing his historic tour of Canada.
Regarding Harry's "proactive" approach, royal analyst Richard Eden stated, "So he (Harry) jumped on his aircraft and racked up a few extra flying miles to travel over to this meeting over in China. Obviously, it is delicate; he has done it when the King is in Canada."
In a chat with the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential podcast, he continued, "But it's also very interesting; I'd like to know more about why he's there; is he forging new business links; we know he and Meghan are very keen to make a lot of money."
Another royal critic, Richard Kay, says the Duke should have "cancelled" his flight and appeared via Zoom call to honor his father's momentous journey.
"He could've done it over Zoom. I mean, did he really need to fly for a meet-and-greet? That's what it looked like." He stated.
Mr Kay mentioned an ancient event, saying, "For example, of course, the Diana Awards." I recall him once being in a nice cabin on a ski vacation with different wealthy people, and you saw him speaking with the Diana Award winners."
The royal advisor said, "So on that occasion, he felt fine to do it on video; he didn't want to interrupt his holiday."
