According to a former worker, King Charles intends to continue in his capacity as monarch.
His Majesty, who is now suffering from cancer, has a plan in place in case things go wrong with his health.
Former Royal butler Grant Harold spoke on behalf of Prime Casino, stating that "Charles has already put things in place in case he is unable to carry out duties himself."
"He has appointed Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Queen Camilla, and, I believe, Sophie as Counsellors of State." That implies that if he is no longer able to perform his duties, those persons - his siblings, wife, son and daughter-in-law - can step in and carry them out on his behalf, as was the case during the Queen's last years of reign.
"What about abdication? No. "He will serve until his last breath, just like his mother," the expert declared.
He went on to say, "That feeling of obligation is embedded in him; it defines him. No one actually knows what is going on in the King's head, but based on what I witnessed - and I don't believe he has changed in this respect - abdication would be the last thing he would contemplate. It's simply not in his nature.
