David and Victoria Beckham are allegedly concerned about their children amid recent family strife involving boys Brooklyn and Romeo.
According to The Sun, David Beckham is allegedly devastated that his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, did not attend his 50th birthday celebrations in London over the weekend.
According to a Beckham family insider, "David is heartbroken but putting a brave face on it."
The insider went on to say that, despite the fact that the occasion was supposed to be "all about celebration and love," Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz were not present for either of David's 50th birthday festivities.
"Brooklyn actually informed his parents a while ago that he and his wife, Nicola, would not be attending but, of course, David and Victoria desperately hoped he would change his mind," according to a source.
"It's a dagger to the heart that he hasn't attended a single one of David's 50th celebrations - and hurts the whole family, including the grandparents and siblings," the insider even addressed, adding that everyone "loves him dearly".
The source said of the anxious parents, David and Victoria, "They just hope things can be patched up soon."
