Hayley Atwell spoke openly about actor Tom Cruise's work ethics, which she believes are admirable.
Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames appear in the eighth installment of the iconic Mission: Impossible franchise, which has been officially released globally.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, dominated the box office on its debut weekend.
While discussing the 62-year-old actor's dedication to his job and mission, Atwell recalled a single comment Cruise made on set about himself. Hayley claimed to have observed it for five years.
The 43-year-old actress told Collider, "We filmed Grace's first-ever introduction in the second film, so her first appearance in the film was the last thing I shot."
She went on, "I remember that day when Tom said, 'Movies are not something I do; they are who I am.'" And I could see it. I saw that every day for five years. He lives, breathes, and has dedicated his life to it.
"So, to work with someone with that kind of work ethic is incredible," the Captain America star continued.
Mission: Impossible 8 grossed around $190 million over its debut weekend.
