King Charles delivered an emotive speech about cancer, which royal commentators described as "very moving."
Richard Fitzwilliams, speaking on GB News, stated that the King discussed how 390,000 individuals are diagnosed with cancer each year and how difficult it is to hear that news.
He also stated that the King spoke about how encouragement from others brings out the best in individuals during difficult times.
The message was delivered during an event for those who support cancer patients in their areas.
"Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones," the monarch went on to say.
He went on: "But as one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience that brings into sharp focus the very best of humanity."
Fitzwilliams told GB News that he believes the message is incredibly touching. It also goes over the terrible number that 390,000 people are diagnosed with this pernicious illness each year, as well as how devastating being diagnosed may be.
"And also, subsequently, he talks about the way that it brings out the best in the human spirit when you are supported," the expert said.
He continued, "This reception was for those who were involved in community-based cancer support, and this is one of the ways that the King is attempting, as he has with the environment and inter-religious understanding, to promote causes that are close to his heart."
"But the personal aspect of this was a profoundly moving message." Speaking also from personal experience, and the fact that the Princess of Wales is in remission and gradually returning to some type of balance in terms of public activities."
