Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a huge statement through their Archewell Foundation after being rejected in the United States.
According to the Daily Mail, the duke and duchess were not included in Time Magazine's authoritative new list of the world's best do-gooders.
Archie and Lilibet, Archie's adoring parents, were not nominated to the Time100 Philanthropy list after attending a magazine-organized conference last month to recognize the world's most important individuals.
The list did, however, include Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Following this rejection, Meghan and Harry posted a statement titled "Safety by Design Wins: Accountable Tech" on their Archewell Foundation's website.
It was announced: "This week, The Archewell Foundation is highlighting Accountable Tech who recently published a study highlighting gaps in recent protections put in place for teens on Instagram."
It continued: "The report focuses on inconsistencies in the application of settings for Instagram Teen accounts and" sensitive content "within Meta's framework, including sexualized content and alcohol-related content reaching all the teen accounts used in the experiment."
The statement went on to say that this study emphasizes the need of platforms allowing independent researchers access to data in order to improve the efficacy of safeguards and ensure that implementation of safeguards and laws, to the degree they exist, is thorough.
"The Archewell Foundation believes that technology should be designed to be safe for our families. "Safety by design is an approach to child online safety that prioritizes accountability, user empowerment, and transparency," they explained.
Around the world, young people, parents, and activists are 'creating a better online world' by advocating for digital responsibility and innovation that prioritizes safety.
They promised: "The Archewell Foundation is committed to uplifting their wins."
