Meghan Markle and Sara Blakely, the founder of SPANX, spoke on the last edition of the podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.
During their honest talk, the Duchess discussed the physical hurdles she had while pregnant, namely wearing uncomfortable high-heeled shoes to royal occasions.
Meghan revealed that she gained 65 pounds with both of her pregnancies, making wearing stilettos even more challenging.
Reflecting on her experience, she shared: 'I mean, I gained 65 pounds with both pregnancies, and you are in this five inch' I usually wear my five-inch pointy-toed stilettos, which say, 'You have the most huge bump, and your tiny little ankles are bracing themselves in these high heels.'
'But all of my weight was at the front, so you are just going.' How am I not just tipping and face-planting? I am always holding to my spouse, as if to say, 'Please do not let me fall!'
It's worth mentioning that Meghan was still a working royal throughout her first pregnancy with Archie, and she frequently attended high-profile engagements dressed in formal wear, including heels.
