Myles Smith has stated a desire to collaborate with Ed Sheeran.
The singer himself has the biggest song of 2024 in the UK, named Stargazing, and recently got his first Ivor Novello award.
He is excited to support the Shape of You hitmaker during his stadium gigs and hopes that their connection will lead to them releasing songs together as well.
Speaking to Contact Music during BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Liverpool, Myles said of backing Ed: "I'm playing stadiums for the first time. It's quite crazy, but I'm definitely looking forward to the challenge."
When asked if he and the Perfect singer had any intentions to cooperate, he said, "No, not right now. But he is a wonderful buddy, so perhaps in the future."
In addition, Myles stated that he "never imagined" that his name would be on Time 100's list of most important individuals.
He claimed to being caught "off-guard" when he discovered his name on the elite list with Serena Williams and Mark Zuckerberg.
"That one took me off guard. I never thought I'd wind up in it. "It's mad," he said.
"I believe I just felt really grateful, you know? To be appreciated on that level for doing what I enjoy," the Sweet Love singer said.
The 26-year-old pop musician also discussed the popularity of his 2024 single, which has been streamed over a billion times, stating, "You always hope people connect with a song, but Stargazing just seemed to take on a life of its own."
"I believe it is the honesty in it; everyone has either experienced tragedy or hung on to optimism when they definitely shouldn't have. It's basic, but it's authentic. And I believe people sensed that," Myles Smith said, explaining why the song became famous following its release.
