Prince Harry made alarming assertions during the explosive BBC interview.
The Duke of Sussex stated that he "would love" to reconcile with his father, King Charles, while acknowledging that he does not speak to him because to his security situation.
Just before the interview, Harry suffered a severe legal setback when he lost his appeal for security in the UK.
However, BBC journalist Nada Tawfik has spoken out about her encounter with Harry off camera.
Nada described Harry as "down to earth" and "softly spoken," claiming that the Duke of Sussex was "easy to talk to."
"He arrived without an entourage and greeted us graciously, shaking each of our hands. "I was surprised he knew I had flown in from New York to conduct the interview," she explained.
Nada commented, "Sitting there, close up, there was a lot to unpack. I believed it was crucial to question why taxpayers should pay for his security, why a change of status was unnecessary given that he was not a working royal, and why protection on a case-by-case basis made him feel more vulnerable."
"Friday's ruling leaves the prince, in the glamour and comfort of California, hoping for a change of heart in the palaces of London," the journalist said of Prince Harry.
