After serving as a mentor for King Charles' passion project, Princess Eugenie made the York family proud by taking on another significant role.
According to Hello! Magazine, the Princess of York has been named a Global Ambassador for Thirty Six For Coral, an art show and auction benefiting coral reef conservation.
Eugenie is a passionate advocate for environmental and ocean conservation, in addition to her full-time employment as an Associate Director at the gallery Hauser & Wirth.
The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson continues to support charities and significant initiatives together.
Eugenie expressed her gratitude for the start of her new journey as she discussed her new employment.
She went on: "Despite occupying less than 1 per cent of the seabed, coral reefs support 25 per cent of all life in the ocean, and one billion people around the world depend on coral reefs for food and jobs."
The wife and mother of two said, "I'm pleased to be supporting Thirty Six for Coral, an important art exhibition that will help connect more people to the irreplaceable value of coral reefs, and raise essential funding to help protect and restore them for future generations."
The member of the royal family joins celebrities such as Sienna Miller and Cara Delevingne in supporting the exhibition, which will open on June 12, 2024, during the 2025 UN Ocean Conference in Nice.
Princess Eugenie was named as Thirty Six For Coral's ambassador after being honored by The King's Foundation as a mentor for the organization's 35 Under 35 network.
