A 5-year-old child assisted Queen Camilla in planting a poppy at the Tower of London, according to a statement published by the royal family on Tuesday.
Harrison, 5, represented the younger generation as he stood with Queen Camilla, who planted a poppy on honor of those who served in WWII.
The royal family released many photos of the queen and the plants, with the comment, "The Queen and Harrison Machin, 5, plant the final poppies in an installation at the Tower of London to commemorate 80 years since the conclusion of World War II. Her Majesty represented all those who served the nation in this Remembrance Day ceremony, while Harrison planted a poppy on behalf of the younger generation."
"The Tower, which was itself bombed during the Blitz, will display nearly 30,000 ceramic poppies on the lawn to mark the year of Remembrance."
