Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip FE is scheduled to be released with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 later this year. While there have been various leaks about the Flip phone, the most of them have been contradictory on the chipset utilized. Most recently, the Galaxy Z Flip FE supposedly appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website, indicating significant specifications. The Galaxy Z Flip FE has previously shown on Geekbench using the Exynos 2400 chipset.
Geekbench lists a purported Galaxy Z Flip FE with the model number SM-F766U. The listing includes a ten-core chipset and a motherboard codenamed's5e9955'. The CPU has a 1+2+5+2 architecture, with a prime CPU core clocking at 3.30GHz, two cores limited at 2.75GHz, and five cores running at 2.36GHz. Finally, the CPU features two cores clocked at 1.80GHz. These CPU speeds and codenames are similar to the Exynos 2500 chipset.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE prototype is set to run Android 16 and have 12GB of RAM. It scored 2,012 points in single-core testing and 7,563 in multi-core testing.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip FE was first supposed to use the Exynos 2400 chipset. Later rumors stated that Samsung could employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC instead.
Earlier this month, the Galaxy Z Flip FE appeared on Geekbench under the model number SM-F761N, powered by an Exynos 2400 processor. The earlier listing also mentioned the Android 16 operating system, but with just 8GB of RAM.
If the new Geekbench listing is accurate, it will be the first time Samsung has employed an Exynos processor in a foldable tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE Specifications (Expected)
Samsung might reveal the Galaxy Z Flip FE during its Galaxy Unpacked event in July, with the conventional Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 versions. It is said to include a 6.7-inch main screen and a 3.4-inch cover screen. It might include a 3,700mAh battery and 25W cable charging capability.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE might include two outward-facing cameras: a 12-megapixel main and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It is said to include a 10-megapixel front camera.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be priced below EUR 1,000 (approximately Rs. 92,000).
