Samsung is rumored to be working on One UI 8, the next edition of the Android operating system, which is based on Android 16. While the rumour mill has revealed some details about the Android skin thus far, a source indicates that the South Korean technology behemoth may overhaul the built-in Reminder app with the One UI 8 upgrade. The Reminder app is supposed to include a new user interface (UI), including a redesigned home page and a comprehensive view of everything you need to remember.
Reminder App Changes in One UI 8
Tipster @theordysm has revealed information on the improvements coming to Samsung's Reminder app in One UI 8. Users will see options such as Today, Scheduled, Important, Place, No Alert, and Completed on the home screen. In the current One UI 7 version of the app, these are buried under the hamburger menu in the top-right corner.
The new version is expected to remove an unnecessary step, eliminating the requirement to enter the three-dot menu to access these choices in One UI 8.

However, it should be emphasized that the new items were found in an early release of One UI 8, thus they may still be susceptible to modification. Other than the shared pictures, no other information is available.
According to recent rumors, One UI 8 may add to the feature set of Now Brief powered by Galaxy AI. The pill-shaped button may allow users to check in on live phone calls, as well as view additional information such as the call time and receiver data. Furthermore, it may benefit from a 'Listen' feature, which allows them to get an audio version of their daily brief, removing the need to check the phone's screen for changes.
