Taylor Swift fans are quite dissatisfied with the American Music Awards.
The 35-year-old pop diva purportedly hinted at a significant revelation at the award event on Monday, May 26, but did not show up.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker was also spurned at the event, as she would have left empty-handed if she had attended.
Swifties rushed to social media to voice their disappointment when their aspirations were dashed during the ceremony.
"I knew she wouldn't be there, lol. I'm beginning to think 26 truly means 2026," commented one enthusiast.
Another commented, "Why would Taylor Nation continue to promote it?"
"I'm weary of Easter eggs that lead to nothing anymore. It's becoming frustrating lol. Stop throwing us eggs that don't mean anything. Her website spells out AMAS, and the 26% weird objects appear to be legitimate eggs. "Ugh," said a third.
Another commented, "ATP, keep that reputation Taylor byeeee."
After Swift debuted Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version) on The Handmaid's Tale, many assumed that Reputation (Taylor's Version) was finished and ready to be unveiled.
However, that might still be the case, as the Grammy winner waits for the ideal moment to release it.
As one admirer put it, "I'm no expert, but something doesn't seem right in Taylor's life." Ultimately, it is none of our concern unless she choose to share - or not. I'm tired of postings that forecast her moves based on nothing. Her stillness is deafening.
This might relate to rumors of a schism between Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, as a source said that the duo is growing increasingly incompatible in terms of their respective occupations.
Neither of the stars has responded to the speculation, but they have made very few public appearances in recent months.
