Taylor Swift did not attend the American Music Awards 2025, but many hoped she would win some of the six categories for which she was nominated.
The 35-year-old pop sensation was nominated for Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Touring Artist, Album of the Year, and Favorite Pop Album for The Tortured Poets Department, as well as Collaboration of the Year for Fortnight with Post Malone.
However, Swift did not win any of the categories during the award event, which took place on Monday, May 26 at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
The 14-time Grammy winner did earn a nod for Eras Tour, which was voted the Tour of the Century, and delivered a pre-recorded acceptance speech.
"I really can't tell you how much this means to me because I accept it on behalf of all my tourmates," she said, adding that the record-breaking tour was "the most challenging" but "most rewarding" thing she's ever done.
Despite becoming the most honored artist in AMA history, the Anti-Hero hitmaker appears to have suffered a setback this year.
The rejection comes as breakup rumors swirl around Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, after an insider revealed that the couple's romance has begun to have a detrimental impact on their respective businesses.
Neither Swift nor Kelce have responded to the rumors yet. The pair was last seen together last week on a date night in Florida.
