Tom Cruise's weight seemed to have no bound. The Weeknd is a perfect example of this.
The Grammy winner recently appeared on The Tonight Show, saying, "I definitely saw that." It really boosted the song," adding, "It helped it peak to the record-breaking top, owing to him, certainly. "To the biggest movie star in the world."
His comments referenced the Top Gun star's promotion of the 35-year-old song Can't Feel My Face on the Jimmy Fallon program a decade ago, which propelled him to the top of the Billboard 100.
The After Hours hitmaker stated that while he has never met the Academy Award-nominated actor in person, he is "a huge Tom Cruise fan." "I enjoy The Color of Money, Vanilla Sky, Rain Man, Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, and Mission Impossible."
Weekend also stated that he intended to repay the favor to the megastar by "promoting a little bit of Mission: Impossible."
Amid the excitement around the upcoming Mission: Impossible film, Tom revealed that he is brainstorming ideas for Top Gun 3.
"Yeah, we're considering and talking about a variety of stories, including what we might accomplish and what is conceivable. It took me 35 years to figure out Top Gun: Maverick, so all of these projects we're working on, we're talking about Days of Thunder and Top Gun: Maverick," he told The Australian Today.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning will be released on May 21.
