Vivo is preparing to launch the S30 line of smartphones in China. A top corporate executive has confirmed that the lineup would be released at the end of the month. The range will feature a basic Vivo S30 and a Vivo S30 Pro Mini. The latter will include a 6.31-inch display, comparable to the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which was released in China in October 2024. Meanwhile, leaks and sources have highlighted more crucial specs for the incoming Vivo S30 Pro Mini.
Vivo S30 Series Launch: Everything We Know
Vivo's Product Vice President, Ouyang Weifeng, said in a Weibo post that the Vivo S30 series will be available in China by the end of May. He stated that the lineup will comprise a basic Vivo S30 and a Vivo S30 Pro Mini model. According to the official, the phones would have flat displays of 6.31 inches and 6.67 inches, respectively. Both versions would include 6,500mAh batteries, he noted.
The senior Vivo official's message includes a photograph that purports to show the display panels of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini and Vivo S30 side by side. Both phones have flat displays, minimal bezels, and centered hole-punch slots for the front camera. The power button and volume rocker on both handsets are located on the right edge.
In another Weibo post, Weifeng likened the Vivo S30 Pro Mini to an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Vivo phone is presented in a bright blue color and seems thinner than the iPhone. It is shown having a slightly elevated back camera module.
An prior leak from tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) indicated that the Vivo S30 Pro Mini will offer both wireless and 100W cable fast charging. In another article, the tipster stated that the device will most likely have a "high-performance sub-flagship processor" and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera.
We should expect to discover more about the Vivo S30 series, including its release date, in the following days.
