Benny Blanco just provided a huge update on his wedding to Selena Gomez.
On June 4, the music producer appeared on Today to discuss his current record alongside his fiancé, as well as their forthcoming wedding.
Interestingly, Benny said that his life has improved after becoming engaged to Selena and releasing their first collaborative record, I Said I Love You First, in March.
Reflecting on the music-making process, Benny, whose true name is Benjamin Joseph Levin, revealed that the record was not planned; it just occurred.
While talking about the approaching wedding and the expected star-studded guest list, the music producer said that his friend and fellow musical talent Ed Sheeran had already RSVP'd.
"I just told him [Ed], 'I'm gonna have a wedding and you're gonna come to the wedding,'" according to the 37-year-old.
He went on to say that the couple had yet to send invitations to their A-list acquaintances and had not even picked a date for their wedding.
"Eventually Ed will come to our wedding, when we have one, but we haven't scheduled one yet," said Benny, who became engaged in December of last year.
Meanwhile, Selena discussed her wedding preparations with Benny during her appearance on the newest edition of Table Manners, which also included Jessie and Lennie Ware.
The Only Murders in the Building actor also stated that she would not be doing the traditional bride and groom dance at their reception because she is too bashful.
"I don't think we're looking at having one of those 'cause they're a little — I feel embarrassed," she said.
