The Palace stated that the festival "aims to serve as a platform to showcase the future of the creative industries, supporting emerging artists and innovative projects."
Before departure, the King visited Old Spitalfields Market, where he greeted people and talked with stallholders working 'Antiques Thursday' during the rain.
The monarch carried his own umbrella and continued to welcome everyone around him, prompting royal followers to praise his actions.
One admirer asked on social media, "Was the King really standing in a puddle of rain to shake hands? "Class act!"
