The Indian model is likely to be comparable to the Chinese equivalent. The device has an 8.03-inch flexible inner screen and a 6.53-inch cover display, both using 8T LTPO technology. When folded, the Vivo X Fold 5 is around 9.2mm thick and unfolds to 4.3mm. Vivo also hinted the X200 FE handset's arrival in India.

According to the official home page for the Vivo X Fold 5, the device will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging capabilities, identical to the Chinese version. It is claimed to fulfill IP5X dust resistance and IPX8+IPX9 water resistance certifications.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is supposed to be freeze resistant up to -20° Celsius. It features a Carbon Fibre Support Hinge that has purportedly been tested for 600,000 folds. When folded, it measures 9.2mm thick and unfolds to 4.3mm. The Indian version of the smartphone would weigh 217 grams.
The Vivo X Fold 5, like the previous Chinese edition, will have a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera configuration that includes a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. The device will also include AI Image Studio capabilities. It will also contain a Shortcut Button for easy access to sound options, torches, cameras, notes, recording, and other features.
Along with the telephoto shooter, the Vivo X Fold 5's triple rear camera array has a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The smartphone has 20-megapixel front-facing cameras on both the internal and external displays. It has an 8.03-inch inner screen and a 6.53-inch cover display. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
