Microsoft just announced Copilot Shopping, an in-app product discovery and purchase experience for consumers. The Redmond-based tech giant's new artificial intelligence (AI) function will be accessible on the Copilot app for mobile and web clients, and it may also be introduced to the desktop software (on AI PCs). This AI-powered e-commerce experience will include user ratings of items, price comparisons across several platforms, and the ability to monitor the lowest feasible pricing. Additionally, Copilot Shopping has native checkout functionality, allowing users to purchase things straight within the app.
Copilot Shopping Recommends Products to Users
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), Microsoft Copilot's official handle described the new capability. Copilot Shopping follows the launch of comparable AI-powered shopping tools by Google in Search and OpenAI in ChatGPT. According to a TestingCatalog article, the corporation started testing the functionality last month.

Copilot Shopping is intended to be an end-to-end shopping assistant that assists consumers from product discovery to checkout, according to the business, which announced it during its 50th anniversary event. It also provides price alerts, recommendations based on prompts and follow-up questions, and curates lists of possibilities that the user may find useful.
