Prince Harry got terrible news from Buckingham Palace, despite professing a wish to make amends with his family in the UK.
A recent People Magazine article on King Charles' next move during his never-ending feud with his son aroused comments.
Royal analysts feel that the only way for the royal family and the Sussexes to reconcile is if the monarch extends an olive branch to Harry.
However, palace insiders indicated that the King will not make the initial move since his close advisers do not "encourage reconciliation."
According to the aforementioned magazine, Harry's brother and next-in-line to the throne, Prince William, has expressed "no interest" in making up with him.
On the other side, the monarch's adored wife, Queen Camilla, has chosen to keep out of the escalating feud.
The source also stated that King Charles' private secretary, Sir Clive Alderton, is "unlikely to push for a personal outreach."
According to royal expert Valentine Low, the King is surrounded by individuals who do not motivate him to reconcile with Harry.
He explained: "There is not a good angel in his ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move.'"
Valentine remembered Prince Harry's shocking BBC interview, saying, "It wasn't intended to be an assault, but it was perceived as one. It encourages Charles to reach out even more.
