Prince William and Prince Harry, who formerly had a tight relationship, are now unable to communicate.
King Charles' two sons have been estranged since Harry wrote his explosive book, Spare, in 2023, in which he accused his elder brother and other members of the royal family of not treating him and his wife, Meghan, fairly.
While there was some anticipation that the two brothers would be reunited, royal sources indicate that they have "no relationship" anymore, according to Us Weekly.
According to royal historian Marlene Koenig, "Bridges have been burned on both sides."
Harry's latest gambit, a surprise interview with the BBC in May regarding the outcome of his security appeal, appears to have sealed the deal and put an end to the reconciliation.
During the interview, Prince Harry stated that he is willing to reconcile with his family and that he does not "know how much longer my father has". He also blasted the royals for failing to safeguard his family's safety.
The insider informed the newspaper that the future King is "absolutely appalled" that Harry mentioned their father's cancer fight.
"There is no turning back for William," the person stated. "The door is firmly shut."
According to sources, the split between the two brothers will have an impact on the royal family's image, necessitating "herculean efforts" to recover.
