According to Weibo user Instant Digital (translated from Chinese), Samsung will debut its first tri-fold smartphone (or the Galaxy G Fold) during the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The firm is also anticipated to unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series at the forthcoming event.
While Samsung may reveal the rumored Galaxy G Fold foldable phone on July 9, it is not likely to be available for purchase with the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. to its inaugural Galaxy Unpacked presentation earlier this year, Samsung hinted to the Galaxy S25 Edge's debut, and the smartphone was released in May. Similarly, the Galaxy tri-fold phone is slated to launch in October, according to the source.
Although nothing is known about the Galaxy tri-fold phone, Samsung has previously shown many folding prototypes at trade exhibitions over the last few years.
