Because neither Gerard nor her children, Sasha and Milan, eat jam, the Colombian singer reasoned that someone else must have eaten it while she was away.
Following this, Shakira realised that her partner of 12 years and the father of her two sons had been cheating on her.
The singer's new track, in which she opens the fridge to find the head of her collaborator, Rauw Alejandro, on a platter, appears to confirm the report.
Furthermore, in the diss track, she mocks the former Barcelona star and Clara, singing, "You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. You exchanged your Rolex for a Casio."
Shakira says in the song, "She has a good person's name, clearly it's not what it sounds like," in another apparent jab at Clara.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Shakira has erected a life-size witch mannequin on her balcony, directly across from Gerard's mother Montserrat Bernabeu's pad.
