According to a close acquaintance, Lisa Marie Presley wanted her oldest daughter Riley Keough to oversee her trust.
"Lisa's aim was extremely apparent," the buddy revealed to People on Monday. Lisa didn't believe [mother] Priscilla Presley was acting in her best interests."
This arose when Lisa's mother, Priscilla, contested her will to remove her and Lisa's former business manager, Barry Siegel, from her trust's management.
Lisa's sad death on January 12 at the age of 54 sparked the family feud. She had a heart attack at home and was sent to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Page Six alleged that Priscilla's assertions are only a "money grab" attempt. "She didn't have any relationships with Priscilla, [her ex-husband] Michael Lockwood, or her half-brother [Navarone Garibaldi," the insider continued.
Lisa's mother filed legal filings in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, claiming that a "invalid signature" was found on a previously inserted modification to the will.
